Help shape the future of paediatric hearing research

We are looking for professionals involved in paediatric hearing health and education to join our Steering Group to help lead a James Lind Alliance Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) in Childhood Deafness and Hearing Loss.

What would I be doing?
The idea of the PSP is to consult a broad range of people (including parents and children throughout the UK) with lived experience of childhood hearing loss, as well as health and education professionals, to devise a ‘Top Ten’ of what they think are the important questions researchers should be trying to answer about childhood deafness and hearing loss. The Steering Group have an important role to play as they will make vital decisions about how the project progresses, and ensure that the values and procedures of the James Lind Alliance are upheld at all times.

The project will run for 15 months. The steering group will meet approximately once per month, with a mixture of online meetings or face-to-face meetings, typically taking place in Manchester. We will provide travel expenses for face-to-face meetings.
