Role Summary
We are striving to deliver excellence in patient care and management and are looking for a highly motivated full-time Audiologist to complement our Audiology Team.
A substantive post has become available to be a clinician within the paediatric audiology service in Audiology UHS-Brighton. This is based in our new, state-of-the-art paediatric department, providing specialist advice for patients with deafness, vestibular conditions, tinnitus and auditory processing disorder.
The successful candidate should be flexible, possess excellent organisational and communication skills and provide a professional service in this varied and challenging role. Responsibilities will be in the paediatric team; however, we work closely with the adult team and the successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with both teams. Working on their own initiative combined with the ability to prioritise changing workloads is a must. This role will be supported by a large team of colleagues and a clear management and training structure.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To provide paediatric audiological assessment and appropriate management interventions for children within the local area.
Possibility of working within the adult team, depending on service needs.
