In her final year on the BAA Board, Laura has taken on the significant role of leading our Annual Conference. While this is a major commitment, she is supported by an outstanding programme committee and professional conference organisers. For the 2025 event, Laura’s key objectives include delivering a high-value experience for delegates, ensuring financial sustainability for BAA, and curating a diverse, engaging programme that appeals to a wide audience.

  • Expand sector engagement and increase attendance by reaching a broader audience.
  • Maintain strict planning deadlines to guarantee a seamless event execution.
  • Enhance programme content by actively engaging HEIs, researchers, and incorporating member requests.
  • Improve the delegate experience by addressing past feedback and gathering insights from those who have not previously attended.

About Laura
Laura is currently the Head of Public Tenders for GN Hearing North Europe and has volunteered for the BAA since being a student. She completed a BSc in Audiology in Leeds in 2011 and then the STP in 2014. Laura held various NHS Audiology roles before moving to the commercial sector.
