Sub-editor needed for BAA magazine

We need a Sub-editor for the BAA magazine. Could you spare some time to help our magazine editor – Sara Coulson – with a couple of issues a year?

The magazine looks to keep members informed of developments and best practice across Audiology. Articles cover service delivery, research, practice guidance, professional development and many more areas.

The editor works in conjunction with the BAA Publications and Communications committee and Fitwise to source, review and curate articles submitted for consideration.  We are currently looking for a sub-editor to support this role.

Key Tasks include:

• Monitoring the magazine email account for new communications (usually weekly)
• Liaising with the editor to respond to any communications
• Proofreading articles for spelling and grammar
• Liaising with Fitwise over the magazine layout
• Deputise for the editor at BAA Publications and Communication team meetings when necessary
