Higher Training Scheme non-clinical modules are no longer compulsory for ACS Route 1

On 14th November 2019, the Association of Clinical Scientists approved an amendment to the requirements for Route 1 for the Certificate of Attainment. The non-clinical modules will no longer be compulsory for those who are using the Higher Training Scheme (HTS) as the professional body approved formal pre-registrant clinical scientist training programme.
The competencies applicants are required to demonstrate remain unchanged.
The Audiology specific competency document is currently being updated and will be published on the ACS website as soon as it is available.
