We would like to invite you to join the Board members of the British Academy of Audiology (BAA) and other Heads of Service from across the UK for a day of presentations, workshops and discussions on Thursday 26th March.
Angela Douglas, Consultant Clinical Scientist & Deputy Chief Scientific Officer will present on the CSO strategy for NHS England. We will also discuss the parallel approaches in all the home countries throughout the day.
The BAA has a lot of information we would like to share with you, but more importantly, we need to hear from you. There are some key challenges and opportunities for our profession that we would like to explore. Workforce planning and recruitment issues, a potential College of Audiology, and Healthcare Science networks are on the agenda for the day.
We are also keen to share information on what our board of volunteers and sub-committees are doing to support the Audiology profession. The relaunched Higher Training Scheme, the new Mentoring Scheme, Regional Groups and training days are just some of the ways we can support you and your departments with education, training and development. We have a lot more to share.
We need you, your thoughts and opinions, to ensure that our future work considers your needs. Can you, or a deputy, join us on Thursday 26th March in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham?
Free places* can be booked through Eventbrite. Click here or search for BAA Heads of Service on Eventbrite.
