I have worked in the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital’s Audiology Department for eighteen years. I started as an Assistant Technical Officer (ATO), not knowing anything about hearing and was soon given the opportunity to undertake the Audiology Diploma and BAAT qualifications to become a fully qualified Audiologist.
My role has developed and I now specialise in rehabilitating patients with tinnitus and patients with severe to profound hearing loss. I am our departmental Cochlear Implant Champion and currently chair of the East of England Severe to Profound interest group.
I am motivated to provide patients with the best possible care, whether that is technology based or counselling based. My passion for patient centred care has lead me to keep improving my skills and I look forward to organising more ways to keep sharing knowledge and best practise.
