A team at NHS England are in the early stages of developing a hearing check programme for children and young people in residential special schools, aimed at delivering on the long-term plan commitment.
‘…we will work with partners to bring hearing, sight and dental checks to children and young people with a learning disability, autism or both in special residential schools.”
