The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has released a decision making tool for parents to help them decide between treatment options for their child who has Glue Ear.

It is for parents or carers of children younger than 12 years who have glue ear with hearing loss. Parents can go through it and use it to help them talk to their child’s care team. The child’s care team includes people from different health professions and specialties who help to manage the child’s glue ear, for example, audiologists, surgeons and other ear specialists.
