DM01: NHS England activity and waiting times reporting

The Physiological Science Transformation Programme in NHS England has written advice to support Audiology services to report their activity and waiting times for Audiology Assessments.  This guidance is here and on NHS Futures. It should be used in conjunction with the main DM01 Guidance Document as well as the FAQ.

 It is important to ensure all providers of Audiology assessments (for both children and adults) within England are reporting their activity and waits in a standardised method.  This guidance has been developed with examples relevant to both adult and paediatric audiology services.  The guidance has been developed with input of Audiology experts.

Where current reporting practice deviates from what is set out in the attached, provider organisations will need to work with local commissioners and NHSE teams to agree impact and timelines for bringing reporting practice in line with this guidance.  It is expected that all provider organisations will be working to this guidance by March 2025.
