DESCRIPTION:Aetiological investigations for Hearing Loss in Children \nMonday and Tuesday\, 5th and 6th October 2026 \nRoyal College of Paediatrics and Child Health\, 5-11\, Theobalds Rd\, London WC1X 8SH \nThe Course:\nA two day\, in-person event\, studying the aetiological investigations of babies identified by the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme and diagnosed to have a hearing loss (from mild to profound) also covering investigation of older children\, unilateral and progressive hearing loss\, Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder and permanent conductive hearing loss. \nThe course will give delegates a good opportunity to meet leaders in the field of aetiological investigations for hearing loss in children and running established services\, and network with colleagues new to the field. \nWho should attend?\nAlthough more suited for medics\, this is for any professional providing an aetiological investigation service for children with permanent hearing loss.
