DESCRIPTION:Patient-Centred Care Appointments: Adults \nDiscover best practices in delivering personalised care for adult patients in audiology. This session will explore practical strategies to improve engagement\, outcomes\, and satisfaction. \n  \nGuest Speaker: Sue Falkingham \nSue is an Audiologist\, Hearing Therapist and Hearing Aid Dispenser. Currently running her private hearing healthcare practice in North Yorkshire after a 35-year career as an Audiologist. \nAfter training in the NHS in Bradford\, Sue became involved in training other Audiologists whilst working for hearing aid manufacturers. She has always had a keen interest in professional issues and was a member of the British Academy of Audiology Board for 8 years before she took over as the President of BAA for 2 years. \nSue has a keen interest in adult hearing rehabilitation and has developed patient-centred skills through her Hearing Therapy training and by completing courses with the IDA Institute\, both in person and online.
