A team at the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is investigating Clinical data management in NHS hearing services and really need input from BAA members.
The team want to understand what routine clinical data is stored electronically in NHS hearing services and where is it stored (which data management systems are used). Responses to the survey will help to understand what could be gained by working with NHS hearing services across the UK to make routine clinical data about hearing healthcare accessible for research use, and what resources might be necessary to help make it accessible.
Researchers would like to receive responses from as many NHS hearing services as possible, including audiology, auditory implant, and ENT services. They only need one response for each service. The best person to complete this survey on behalf of your service is any staff member who has a good understanding/knowledge of how your service uses data management systems.
