Supporting Innovation in Healthcare!
Applications are now open for the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, Patient Entrepreneur Programme, and Dementia Innovators Programme. These transformative initiatives from NHS England, delivered by Anglia Ruskin University, provide individuals with the skills, knowledge, and experience to develop ideas that transform patient care.
Programme Details:
- NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme:This award-winning workforce development programme is open to all NHS staff. Over the past 8 years, it has supported over 1200 individuals in developing their knowledge and ideas for the benefit of patients. The programme offers a range of support including CPD accredited education events, mentoring, networking, and access to exclusive opportunities, webinars workshops and network connections.
- Patient Entrepreneur Programme:Now in its second year, this programme supports patients and those with lived experience in developing their innovations for patient care. Participants receive comprehensive support from the Public and Patient Involvement team at NHS England, including mentoring and access to a network of like-minded innovators.
- Dementia Innovators Programme:In collaboration with Alzheimer’s Society, this pilot project supports innovators working on ideas to improve the lives of those living with dementia. The programme provides tailored support, including mentoring and networking opportunities, to help bring innovative solutions to fruition.
All three programmes are free, last 12 months, and are designed to fit around your work. They provide learning opportunities and experiences through which entrepreneurs develop the commercial skills to accelerate their innovations, helping to transform patient care. Additionally, they provide entrepreneurial insights and opportunities for personal development. This holistic approach ensures that participants not only enhance their entrepreneurial skills but also grow personally and contribute to a forward-thinking, innovative environment in their workplace.
