The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence have published the NICE Hearing loss (QS 2019) on the NICE website today.
This quality standard covers assessing and managing hearing loss in adults (aged 18 and over). It includes people presenting with hearing loss for the first time in adulthood whether it started in adulthood or earlier. It describes high-quality care in priority areas for improvement.
NICE have thanked all orgnisations who submitted comments during consultation on this quality standard. All consultation comments were considered by the quality standards advisory committee (QSAC) and are documented in the minutes of this meeting.
