The HCPC are seeking registered health and care professionals to undertake the role of Registration appeals panel member in the following professions.

What do Registration appeals panel members do?

Ashley Antonio-Mortley, HCPC Registration Manager, explains, ‘Registration appeals panel members include members of the public (lay) and registered members of all professions the HCPC regulates. They consider information and evidence presented to them to reach well-reasoned and fair decisions on applicants’ and registrants’ appeal cases. Panel members are essential to assisting the HCPC in protecting the public and ensuring that our core values continue to be upheld.’

This role pays a fee of £206 per day, plus any travel and accommodation expenses in relation to this role, which are paid in accordance with the HCPC Expenses Policy.

We expect registration appeals panel members to commit to around five days per year. The role can fit most diary commitments and working patterns. If you are successful, you will be required to attend mandatory induction and regular refresher training.
