Take a break with the BAA

The British Academy of Audiology is happy to introduce a membership pause for a certain period (maximum 12 months) if necessary.

You may take a break for maternity leave, paternity leave, adoption leave, sabbatical, long-term illness or other reasons, which means you are not in your workplace.

If you want to suspend your BAA membership for the duration of your career break, you just need to inform the BAA admin team at the beginning of the period you wish to suspend. You will be asked for evidence to support the request.

While your membership is paused, you will not receive your usual membership benefits. These start again when you return to work.
