I am a registered Clinical Scientist and have worked in Audiology for the past 26 years within the NHS. Whilst I trained in all areas of Audiology, I have mainly specialised in paediatric audiology, in latter years mainly with children who have tinnitus or hyperacusis. I am currently the Head of Audiology in Nottingham.
Throughout my career I have always been involved with my professional body, beginning with being on the CAC and HTS committees, then completing two terms on Board for BAA, then being co-opted back on in 2022 to lead on the successful bid for the World Congress of Audiology in 2028.
Whilst continuing to plan for the WCA I am looking forward to supporting our profession through the inevitable changes that are to come and working with the Board and other bodies to bring sustainable improvement to Audiology for all.
