Job Description: Committee Member – eLearning Platform Development

Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our committee focused on the development of a cutting-edge eLearning platform for the BAA. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the platform, ensuring it meets user needs, adheres to governance standards, and delivers high-quality educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Needs Analysis and Knowledge Gap Identification:

o Identify knowledge gaps among the target audience.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to define the educational goals of the platform.

  1. Content Development Support:

o Work with subject matter experts to support the creation of engaging, high-quality learning content.
o Provide input on content relevance, accessibility, and alignment with learning objectives.

  1. Module Creation and Uploading:

o Assist in structuring and uploading eLearning modules, ensuring consistency in design and functionality.
o Leverage eLearning tools and software to create interactive and user-friendly modules.

  1. Governance and Quality Assurance:

o Ensure all modules and content meet established governance standards
o Participate in the review and sign-off process for platform updates and new content.

  1. User Acceptability Testing:

o Assist with user acceptability testing to ensure the platform is intuitive and meets learner expectations.
o Collect and analyse user feedback to identify areas for improvement.

  1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

o Act as a liaison between the eLearning committee and other BAA committees to foster collaboration and integration.
o Attend, where invited, committee meetings to maintain alignment and ensure eLearning developments support broader BAA strategic objectives.
o Provide updates and feedback to the eLearning committee on discussions and initiatives from other committees.

Commitment: This is a volunteer role, with flexibility for meetings and collaboration as needed.
