However\, she still works part-time as a Lead Clinical Scientist in Hearing Services at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. \nClinically\, her passion has been to provide an excellent\, continually improving service for children and young people with hearing loss. I have a special interest in complex paediatric assessment\, including vestibular assessment\, and counselling children and young people with tinnitus and listening difficulties. I was one of the first audiologists to graduate with a Clinical Doctorate in Healthcare Science\, having completed the Higher Specialist Scientific Training.

She has always had a keen interest in professional issues and was a member of the British Academy of Audiology Board for 8 years before she took over as the President of BAA for 2 years. \nSue has a keen interest in adult hearing rehabilitation and has developed patient-centred skills through her Hearing Therapy training and by completing courses with the IDA Institute\, both in person and online.
