Ruth is an experienced clinical audiologist with over 17 years’ experience in her field. Starting as a newborn hearing screener, Ruth went on to become an audiology assistant before completing her degree whilst working in her local paediatric audiology department.
Ruth holds a BSc Honours degree in Hearing Science in 2018 from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, as well as a Foundation degree in the Sciences Hearing Aid Audiology. Ruth currently works part-time in an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) team for the National Health service (NHS) and part time in a private practice running paediatric clinics.
Ruth has specialised in tinnitus and now runs tinnitus clinics both privately and in the NHS. Her experience working as a senior paediatric audiologist and liaison officer, provides her with an excellent foundation to support children and teenagers with tinnitus as well as adults.
Ruth sits on the British Society of Audiology (BSA) adult rehabilitation interest group (ARIG).
Ruth volunteers with the Kent Deaf Children’s Society (KDCS) and has completed her level six qualification in British Sign Language (BSL).
