I am a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for BSc (Hons) Audiology Practice degree apprenticeship at the University of Sunderland. My background is in NHS Audiology, and I have over 25 years’ experience in clinical practice.
Prior to joining the university, I held a Principal Audiologist role which included a clinical workload of audiometric assessment and rehabilitation across all age ranges.
In addition to my teaching role at the University of Sunderland, I have an honorary contract in a local NHS Audiology Department.
I hold a master’s degree in Rehabilitative Audiology from Queen Margaret University and have also been awarded a Higher Certificate of Clinical Competence in Paediatric Audiological Assessment by the British Academy of Audiology.
