From 2-6 March 2026, we are joining the HCPC in spotlighting continuing professional development (CPD) for CPD Week!
CPD Week is the perfect opportunity to focus on yourself and your development: an essential part of maintaining safe, effective practice, developing your skills and advancing your career.
Join us to reflect, learn and develop! You can find out more at www.hcpcuk.org/cpd-week
How to get involved with CPD Week 2026
We encourage all HCPC-registered members to take the opportunity to focus on your own CPD.
It could be learning more about our requirements, planning your activities for the year ahead or just taking the time to participate in development activities.
Our suggestions:
- Choose a CPD task for the week and plan in time for it. It could be updating your records, mapping your learning against the standards, or reflecting on a task.
- Attend one of the HCPC webinars to learn about a key aspect of the standards in practice.
- Share one thing you’ve learned, or one question CPD has raised for you, with a colleague, your team or with us via social media.
- Share something you’ve learned, or a question that CPD has raised for you, with a colleague, your team or with us via social media.
- Share a resource that you’ve found helpful – from the HCPC, from us or from elsewhere – with a colleague, your team or with us via social media.
- Mention CPD Week to your manager or employer – they could organise a team activity or put aside some reflection time to support you.
Join a HCPC learning session
During the week, the HCPC is hosting five 45-minute online learning sessions, each focusing on a key aspect of the standards and professional practice.
- CPD profiles and audits
- How professionalism affects your practice
- Your communication and social media
- EDI and your practice
- Understanding scope of practice at advanced levels of practice

Make it meaningful
As you know, CPD is about quality not quantity, so remember that meaningful reflection is what matters most.
Whether you attend a webinar, set aside time for personal reflection, or share a tip with colleagues, this is your chance to focus on your professional development.
We’ll be promoting CPD Week across our channels and sharing useful resources to support you as well.
Follow us on social media, check our website for updates, and join the conversation using #CPDWeek2026.
