The Discover UCL Summer School is an exciting opportunity exclusively for deaf and hard of hearing students in Years 11 and 12.
The Discover UCL Summer School, is a free opportunity for deaf and hard of hearing students currently in Years 11 and 12 to explore university life and higher education.
Delivered by UCL Widening Participation, the three-day programme is specifically designed to be fully accessible, with support including BSL interpreters and live captioning throughout.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Experience university-style teaching and learning
- Meet current deaf and hard of hearing university students
- Learn about UCAS, student finance, and university support services
- Build confidence and independence
- Explore future study and career pathways
Programme dates:
- Day 1 – Tuesday 28 July (online)
- Day 2 – Wednesday 29 July (on campus at UCL)
- Day 3 – Thursday 30 July (on campus at UCL)
