My interest in sound began at the age of nine when I picked up the classical guitar. That early curiosity guided me towards an undergraduate degree in music composition and audio engineering, where I spent countless hours shaping textures, harmonies, melodies, and mixes.
During my studies a question surfaced, “what would happen to my craft if my own hearing declined?”. Searching for answers, I explored careers centred on auditory health. I discovered audiology, enrolled on intensive summer courses and soon realised I had found my calling.
I am now completing an MSc in Audiology at UCL. The discipline speaks to me because it protects our most delicate creative asset while blending technology, healthcare, creativity and strong interpersonal skills. My goal is to help others preserve and enhance their hearing so they can continue enjoy the sounds that shape their lives.
