I qualified as an audiologist in 1987 and worked in several departments until 1993 when I joined Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where I was Clinical Lead for Adult Audiology specialising in tinnitus. I was previously a BAA regional rep for the old Trent Region, before serving on the BAA Board for 7 years. I was President of BAA in 2016-17.
In 2022, after 35 years in the NHS, I took a leap of faith and joined Signia as a Public Sector Account Manager. After almost 10 years, I am keen to be a part of the BAA again and look forward to working with audiologists in Yorkshire and Humber, creating a network in which to share ideas and learn.
