Matt Frost’s audiology career is rooted in his early experience as a professional musician, having earned a BMus (Hons) from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London. Living with bilateral hearing loss since age 17, Matt retrained in audiology, graduating with a BSc (Hons) from Anglia Ruskin University. Matt worked for Harley Street Hearing & Musicians’ Hearing Services from 2019 – 2026 in London, before relocating to his hometown of Birmingham to start a new clinical role with The Hearing Care Partnership in Summer 2026. He combines his musical expertise with clinical skills to support a wide range of hearing needs.
Matt is passionate about musicians’ hearing health and patient education, actively contributing to research and professional conferences. His lived experience informs a compassionate approach that empowers patients on their hearing journeys.

Matt’s own hearing loss has been both a personal journey and a professional inspiration. His lived experience enriches his clinical practice, allowing him to understand the emotional and practical realities of hearing difference. He is committed to ensuring patients feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout their hearing journey—whether they are new to hearing aids, musicians protecting their hearing, or managing tinnitus and hyperacusis.
